Overview
I was randomly assigned a city for which I had to design a travel campaign. The city I was assigned is Hongdae in Seoul, South Korea. It is a fun youthful area with arts, culture, and fashion.
Logo
The first part of this project was to design a logo for the city. I started with some basic sketches that I felt represented the city after some basic research. One thing about Hongdae is that it is very, “on trend” so I wanted to keep the logo design a little more sleek.
Travel Advertisements
One of the purposes of these designs was to increase the amount of travel to Hongdae. In order to do this, I designed a few travel advertisements. I chose to use the same colors, and the same overall style of the logo I created. Something Hongdae is known for is the sheep café. This café lets patrons interact and play with sheep while they drink their coffee. Because of this, I wanted to include sheep in some of my designs.
